A search URL with a booking-from-date parameter showed a paginated list and a count in the thousands. That count was not a Wayne County jail population count because it represented bookings across the selected date range. Wayne County Inmate Profile Fields

The inspected sample profile is documented as a field inventory only. The sample Wayne County profile source showed the roster's demographic, booking, bond, court, and charge tables.
Those visible fields are useful for record matching, but court records should be checked before treating a charge row as the final case outcome.
Wayne County Booking Records
The local booking path usually starts with a Wayne County deputy, Goldsboro police officer, or another law-enforcement officer making an arrest or serving a commitment order. The person is transported to the Wayne County Detention Center. Wayne County's inmate health-care RFP supports general intake context, including mental health services, medication-assisted treatment counseling, pharmacy use, and detox cells when medical staff deem a protocol necessary. Those details do not create a public right to see medical, classification, or treatment records through the roster.
County Jail vs State Prison Records

Neuse Correctional Institution and the DART Center are physically in Wayne County, but they are NCDAC facilities, not county jail branches. Neuse is a male medium-custody reentry prison. The safe local instruction is to confirm visits with the jail at 919-731-1660 before bringing property, documents, or children. The detention page links Pay Tel phone service and JailATM funds. Google Play listed an update date of Nov. 24, 2025 in the research capture.
A Google Play user review said the app was useful for real-time lockups, charges, bond amount, and custody-change notifications. Because that detail came from a user review rather than the official store description, it should be treated as an additional app-indicated custody channel, not a replacement for the roster, VINELink, records request, or jail phone line.
